Almost every d ay, we hear or see headlines about consumer fraud victims on the radio or on television. Consumer fraud is described as dishonest business practices that cause financial or other damages to customers. When the victims are deceived, they assume they are participating in a lawful and valid business transaction. Consumer fraud is frequently associated with misleading promises or inaccurate claims made to customers, as well as tactics that actually defraud customers of their money. Senior citizens and college students are the most frequent victims for fraudsters, but all consumers are highly susceptible to it.  Consumer fraud has been a current issue that needs to be address.
